Sharapova is the new guest in the house
Maria Sharapova had already announced the arrival of the new guest. The five-time Grand Slam champion posted a picture on Instagram on his 35th birthday on April 19.
After seeing the picture, the fans understood that the former number one in tennis is about to become a mother. The former Russian tennis player confirmed that the new guest is now in his room by posting another photo on Instagram yesterday. The newborn child has been named Theodore.
Sharapova posted a photo yesterday on Instagram with boyfriend and British businessman Alexander Gilks and baby. Denoting Theodore's birth on July 1 in Roman letters, Sharapova wrote, "Our little family could not have asked for a more beautiful, challenging and rewarding gift."
Sharapova once chose NBA star Sasha Vujacic as her boyfriend. Then Grigor Dimitrov came into his life. This glamorous tennis star's flying mind did not stay with Dimitrov for long. In 2018, she got into a relationship with Alexander Gilks.
Gilks, 42, announced her engagement to Sharapova in December 2020. Gilks got engaged with a £300,000 ring. Sharapova wrote on Instagram, "I said yes on the first day of meeting."
Sharapova is one of only 10 women to win a career Grand Slam in tennis. Won all four Grand Slams. At the age of 17, he won Wimbledon in 2004. Sharapova won the US Open in 2006, the Australian Open in 2008 and the French Open in 2012 and 2014. He also won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Seber lost to American legend Serena Williams.
Fashion designer Misha Nono, ex-wife of Alexander Gilks, is a friend of British princess Meghan Markle. Gilks is also friends with Prince Harry and Prince William. This friendship started from Eton College.
Sharapova was injured in 2019 after dating Gilks. Dropped to 373rd in the rankings. Sharapova retired from tennis on February 26 that year after exiting in the first round of the 2020 Australian Open.
